Everything (except maybe sleep) is more fun with a baby!

OK so I wouldn't normally label a camera phone image as a portrait but she's so freakin cute...why not? Side note - Shooting the blondies below getting married on the beach today and it is just gorgeous out! Enjoy your weekend friends :)

Engagement Pics

This Saturday I will have the honor of photographing the celebration as these three beautiful people officially become one happy family. They look as though they were hand picked by an art director for a J Crew catalog and interact like they have known and loved each other their entire lives. Needless to say I'm looking forward to this almost as much as they are...

Archer in the Tree

Archer apparently just gave himself a haircut. So this one is for his momma - it'll grow back Sarah! Three amazingly sweet and incredibly active little guys...and oh yeah, a girl on the way. Congrats again :)

Buddha Baby

Is this why my little girl got sick, a 7am naked trip outside to please her camera junkie mommy? Nah, it had to be all those germy people on the airplane...besides, she's feeling better now and I'll have this memory forever.

Addy on the Wagon

My youngest uncle is 34, one year older than my hubby. He was always closer to a brother than an uncle growing up. An older brother that lived 700 miles away that is, but man how I loved annoying him during the summers we spent together. This is his oldest girl, Addison, don't those eyes look familiar?

Where'd the month go?

I can't believe it has been well over a month since my last post! Life has been hectic and Sophie keeps growing, she's sitting up and sprouting teeth and showing no signs of slowing. I am, however, getting a chance to slow down a little. I took some time to go down to my grandfather's house in Florida, now my youngest uncle's house, and introduce Sophie to her extended family. I wasn't sure how I would feel about coming down here and I'm still not exactly sure how I feel. The house is very much the same and different as Kevin and Brenda have made it there own, and they should. They have two little girls and it's nice that this house that I spent so much time in with my beloved grandparents, uncles, and cousins growing up will be filled with the next generation for years to come, but I can't help missing the two that started it all. I got Brenda to help me with this shot, since Sophie isn't completely stable yet, and when we came in to download it she said that Addison (her oldest daughter) had a photo on the tractor with pop standing next to her...I knew something was missing in this one...
